My nephew is turning 4 this week and I wanted to make him a special card to send out with his gift! A haven't used my Sesame Street cart very much so I wanted to use it for his card. Every 4 year old loves Sesame Street....right?! Okay, so that really isn't true, my little cupe does not really care for Sesame Street...but my nephew really does! Okay, anyway, here is the card:
It is a 5 x 7 card (yellow cardstock) with paper from Sizzix that I have had forever. Oscar is cut from plain cardstock in the appropriate colors. I used my Gypsy to weld together the letters for happy birthday from the Sesame Street fonts cart. The ribbon is from the dollar spot at Target.
For the inside of the card I used stamps from a stamp set I had. I don't usually use stamps because I really don't have the best luck with them but in this case I thought I would try! I hope he enjoys the card, probably not as much as his gift though! What kid really enjoys a card?!

Mothers Day Card
Fantabulous Cricut's Monday Challenge is to create a project with the word "Mom" in it. So here is my card:
I have been wanting to use the A Child's Year cartridge for a while now but I didn't know what I wanted to do. Mother's Day was the perfect opportunity to use it. I really like how sweet this particular cut is. I just used white cardstock to cut out the image. "Mom" is cut out from the Mother's Day 2010 cartridge in white cardstock. The card is lavender cardstock cut at 5x7.
The ribbon is from Sugar 'n Spice. I added a little rhinestone embellishment to the center of the bow.

Easter Cards
It's Easter weekend! I'm enjoying time with my family, I hope you are too! I thought I'd post a few Easter cards that I made. I used the Easter cartridge for them. The background paper is something I had, I'm not sure what brand it is.
The first card:
A side view. I cut the egg out with yellow paper and again with pink paper and used the flowers from the pink egg. They are attached with pop dots.
Here is the inside:
Here is the second card:
I embossed it with the Cuttlebug textile folder. I used glossy accents in the cut out parts of the egg.
The inside of the second card:
I hope you have a terrific weekend!
